A central tree becomes the main element acting as the axis of the remodelled Kili bike shop, a space that revolves around the passion for cycling and nature in all its forms. Thus, in the manner this new store is conceived, the boutique and the fashion space for cyclists coexist in the same environment where space functions as a meeting point for athletes.
Two floors with a double central space, in which a mobile exhibition element, from which a tree grows, is centred. On the lower floor road bikes are lined with millimetric precision and give continuity to an urban place; in contrast to the natural environment represented by the tree and the randomly exposed mountain bikes.
All the furniture is either recycled or custom made with natural materials. These are used as a union between nature and urban space.
The chestnut, being a native tree, has been used for the construction of virtually all furnishings combined with black-lacquered DM and perforated panels. These elements are drawing attention in each of the spaces, dividing areas and products, combining the function with the alignment of tools and accessories of the shop. These panels are also presented as a fashionable and sophisticated styling product.
Bespoke furniture stands where Brompton® bicycles are exhibited, a brand of folding bikes presented in all the different positions to allow a full compression of its mechanism.
The first floor is divided by a storewide large window, which functions as a showcase. The top floor contains a space exclusively for cyclists fashion with the versatility to become a conference and projection room. Swimsuits, shoes, helmets and accessories of all kinds are combined.
