Segovia Architecture Week
The architectural week of Segovia has been created to open up to the public the most important buildings in the city that are usually closed.
Under this premise, the image is constructed with the help of the own buildings and the basic information which describes them.
The idea behind this poster is to represent each one of the buildings that are part of the Week of the Architecture, through a typographic composition of the basic information from each building: Schedule of guided tours, brief description of the building, etc?
The empty spaces created by the composition represent the interior of the buildings, and are aimed to mimic the state of mind of the visitors when they enter that space: Open spaces and buildings open to the public?s own free interpretation.
The way the basic information is set on the poster tries to transmit the whole dimension of the event in just one look, thus becoming a map or calendar of activities.
The poster is made in a translucent material so the buildings in its layout can interact with the buildings they are placed on. It acquires the textures and colours from the walls they are placed on, being able to go to different dimensions?
The final aim is to have the composition of the poster open to the character of the city of Segovia.
